mamma mia

i just got back from italy last night. i went on a bus tour with a group of about 40 people. we flew into Rome and then went to Assisi, Florence, Sorrento, Monte Catini, Capri, Venice, Napoli, Burano, Pisa, Pompeii, Siena, and a handful of other small towns. I got back last night but my clock is a little off considering I woke up at like 6:30am today wtf.

overall it was a positive experience. Italy has good parts and bad parts like any country but it seems to be doing ok. I met some cool people and there was much wine and it was good.

On another note, I was notified that I made it into Illustration West 47, put on by the Society of Illustrators- LA. I'll have a piece up in their show at Gallery Nucleus. Not quite as many as Francis or Sam, but I'm happy none the less.
