a concepts assignment from last semester. I had to illustrate "friendly fire"



here's the first idea. I soon realized that it was stupid and too time consuming and not going anywhere so I quit and did the above drawings.

here are a few things from Joe Galbreath's class about self-publishing called "D.I.Y."(lulz) the first is a kids coloring book about monsters, the second is my previously mentioned mini-zine about asian cuties, and the third is this elaborate promo box that was kind of ridiculous because of the size requirement.











I'm currently working on a mini-mailer that includes some new postcards, printed envelopes, business cards (which have yet to arrive), and a fold 'em zine with some sketchbook stuff. The zine is still being worked out but this is the first draft.

stuff n thangz

first, a fun zine about asian girls. i only posted 3 of the 11 spreads. second, my gd final: a lazercut/engraved promo goodie box. third, ever since I became a fan of Fox News on facebook because the hilarity, the kinds of adds that pop up seem to be way different. less daft punk and totoro and more GOP. i'll document these better soonzz

doom time

Mitchell and Kirsten came to thanksgiving with me in NJ! we went to go see Raein at abc no rio and got really tasty pizza at this little place called LJ's down the street! yay! We also went to the MET which gave me ample opportunities to hate on Poussin.

it's getting close to the end of the semester. time to strap on my super duper anti-fail/anti-sleep boots!

experimentz

some spots and stuff for allan comport's concepts class! it was for an article in Psychotherapy Networker about post-traumatic stress disorder brought about by the Iraq war. i tried to work like my colored pencil drawings but in photoshop! i'm excited for where this is going!
