brown!

Here's the colored version of my previous post. The assignment was to illustrate a color and I happened to draw brown from the pile of slips. This as well as the patience/wrath piece will be in the illustration 1 show that's currently being put up in Fox.

here's the scan of a new drawing. it's for my intro illo class. ill be dropping in some sweet colors within a few hours. cha-chinggggg

I started a new personal sketchbook and I think I'm going to try to make each spread as good as I can get it. Here's the first two. the colorful one is still unfinished but here's ta progress shots. cheers

Mass update 1

Still doing tons of school work. I'll upload sketchbooks and whatnot eventually but here's 2 assignments. The first is an alphabet made of my shoelaces for my hand letters class:



and the second is a diptych for my illustration 1 class that's supposed to illustrate one of the 7 deadly sins and its counter virtue. I did patience and wrath.

mmmm here's the first assignment for my illustration 1 class. it'll be greyscaled when I turn it in, but i decided to color it anyways. it's based on an article from UTNE reader entitled "humanizing corporate responsibility"

well classes have started up again so i'll be updating less and being much more swamped with work. life drawing is going be the death of me but if i somehow survive I think i'll be a figure drawing beast. fingers crossed! here's a bit of what i've been working on for hand-letters with whitney sherman and visual journalism with warren linn:
