mmmm here's the first assignment for my illustration 1 class. it'll be greyscaled when I turn it in, but i decided to color it anyways. it's based on an article from UTNE reader entitled "humanizing corporate responsibility"

well classes have started up again so i'll be updating less and being much more swamped with work. life drawing is going be the death of me but if i somehow survive I think i'll be a figure drawing beast. fingers crossed! here's a bit of what i've been working on for hand-letters with whitney sherman and visual journalism with warren linn:

more ink fun

here's an brush and ink/micron drawing that i whipped up in a few hours today. i kinda like it. i think it'll be used as the album art for the new famicombat album. Cathy said I didn't know anything about ink or brushes; she's mostly right.

TFP inspired fun

I'm not officially part of it or associated with it in any way but I will donate money if I get any buyers of some TFP-inspired prints! I'll be making 5 prints of my drawing that will be 11x14 inches. All of the profits (except those that will be used to cover the printing cost) will be donated to the TFP. I'm only asking for $50 USD per print (plus shipping and handling) and they will be numbered and signed. So here's what I have of it thus far:
