here's a sketchbook page I did today that I like! partly from the light-rail partly from photoreferences for light and stuff. sorry for all these photobooth pics instead of real scan. w/e im lazy.

yea werd. i'm working on some new lines. 11x14 on tan reeeeeeeeves bfk dawg. nowhere near done. i'll be doing some fun digital coloring which i haven't done in awhile so look out! obvious jeff soto, james jean, andrew hem, and hayao miyazaki influence is way too obvious.

i don't know if i'll ever finish that other piece below this one that i was working on. maybe one day even tho it was just a study.

ICON was pretty awesome. I learned quite a bit about the business and made a few key connections. Map props to Whitney for pulling an endeavor like that off and thanks to Gary, James, Cam, Alex, Babs, Autumn, Slam, Josh, Kelly, Tristan and the MICA Ill faculty for making the weekend sweet. ahh charcoal speeddrawing

i was itching to use charcoal since I hadn't in a few months. this was just a study kinda sketchy thing that took a little less that an hour.

ink workz

first time using brush and ink. i learned a lot even though i'm not really thrilled about the result. and of course the intarw3bz killed my beautiful colors.
